This isn't blowing me away, but it's an excellent return

This has two songs that blow me away in the form of 'Skyline' and the title track...but I'm inclined to agree, the rest varies between 3-4 quality. The more I listen the less I'm thinking it hangs together amazingly as a whole.

Think this might settle back to that 3.5 rating.

Probably I'll give You Forgot It In People a spin first and if I dig that I'll give this a full go.

'Forgot' is better than this...but also 'only' a 4 in my book. People get a little over excited about it.

Style wise you might actually prefer this one that stays more 'indie drumming' driven throughout.

I've already heard (and love) one song from that album (thanks to FlagAsh, actually) so I've been meaning to get to it for a while. I'm not really sure what you mean by "indie drumming".

Boney, 'Forgot' is even more experimental, esp the drumming.

Actually listening now it isn't that far removed from the new one. The drumming is definitely more of a 'star player' on 'Forgot' though. 'KC Accidental', 'Almost Crimes', 'Cause = Time' - all very memorable drumming tracks.

Which song did you try?

Yeah I'm talking nonsense, you even like 'King of limbs' ;P

I guess this one just has more of a consistent 'indie rock' vibe, 'Forgot' is the dreaded 'eclectic listen' but they pull it off

'Lover's Spit' is a top five or six song on 'Forgot', but certainly not a clear standout, so you should find a lot more to enjoy on it.

- Romance to the Grave

- Anthems for a 17 Year Old Girl

- Almost Crimes

- Ibi Dreams of Pavement

- Hug of Thunder

- Lover's Spit

- Superconnected

- World Sick
