oh thsts cool, im glad theyre playing again. dont they have a new line-up with every album?

(oh just answered my own question by looking on facebook)

So who else is in this new lineup of Yowie?

Many of you already know Daniel Ephraim Kennedy's ( @quidnunk_skronk )work. His playing in Cleric is nothing short of phenomenal (check out Retrocausal, for instance, if you don't know it). He has collaborated with many artists you undoubtedly know well, and has been working on the international version of Yowie for several years now, holding down the Philadelphia side of the Saint Louis/Philadelphia/Wollongong triangle. If you know his work, you will definitely hear his unique sound and compositional style in the new songs, and if you don't know his work, you are in for a surprise.

We are beyond excited to say we are finishing tracking our new album TODAY (we think) and are preparing for our first live shows together ever, and the band's first shows in over 6 years.

Those shows will. be:

New York at TV Eye Feb 7 with Horse Torso, Sploot, and PAK

Worcester at the Firehouse Feb 8 with An Anderson and Rong,

and

Philadelphia Subterranean Dissonance Fest on Feb 10 as part of a dream two-day lineup!

Hope to see you there! We will keep you posted with the album progress!

Jack Tickner is our newest member. As you can see, he is a pensive and sensitive Australian artist.

If you don't know him from Basil's Kite, or Wollongong, or his solo work, you really should.
