this seemed to be a bit of a step down from psychopomp. the lyrics are still great but its compositions are just slightly less bright and its hooks less memorable. although her last album had to grow on me a bit so here's hoping this could end up a 4

Psychopomp and her other band's albums really need reviews.



Funny enough i found the t/t of Psychopomp to be the most poignant track on the album, and its really just an interlude. But the recording at the end hits me every time. Its a voicemail to Michelle from her mom after her cancer diagnosis.
