It's definitely the most subdued NIN album for sure.

It has elements from all my favorite NIN albums (Broken, TDS, Year Zero), so it's a win win situation.

This is easily my least favorite of this little trilogy of EPs, but This Isn't The Place really might be my favorite NIN. Beautiful song.

My jaw was on the fucking floor when I saw it live.

This is also my least favorite of the Trilogy but not by a wide margin.

NTAE > Bad Witch > This

But all three are at least 8/10 and NTAE and BW are probably 9/10 for me.

Less Than is a banger and more accessible and super good live.

The Lovers is a trippy, creepy song that has grown on me.

This Isn't the Place didn't impress me a ton when I first heard it, but now I think it is a solid emotional song.

Not Anymore is my favorite on the EP. It's so violent and unnerving with top-tier riffs/production.

The Background World is a very good closer and a highlight of later NIN.

Bad Witch > this > NTAE

The Background World is an excellent closer indeed, the noise loop in its 2nd half is mesmerizing, could go on for another couple of minutes for sure.
