I mean people communicate as they can, you don't have to be perfectly fluent in order to speak a language, I surely appreciate the effort when someone tries to speak to me in Spanish, even if it's broken.

El español es mi idioma segundo, ya he aprendido tras los años. Mi esposa es de México y vamos a visitar en el verano que viene, y por eso tengo que practicar más.

I agree with kevbogz that some of this more experimental stuff could have been incorporated for extra effect. That may have tipped it to the 5 for me, but I think what they did do worked great as well

They sort of did it in "Contigo", it's only an interlude but I guess they wanted to keep the Toundra sound over all.
And your Spanish is ace bgill, change "soy" for "estoy" and u are good to go ;)
