Nice review!

A little underwhelmed by this, but it might be because I'm so spoiled by Autumn Aurora

"Whilst the majority of black metal projects tend to nominate Winter as their chosen province, Drudkh remain devotedly infatuated with more temperate climes, doting in particular upon the transitory seasons forever trapped between two extremes."

Interesting, I just read the review for their first album and it touches on a very similar point. My takeaway is that the band is consistent, and slightly away from the norm of black metal.

Not their best, but certainly not disappointing either.

That album cover, though. Not so much.

Album cover doesn't bother me but what's going on around the lower legs of the silhouette. Looks like they're wearing some frilly fringe boots or something

I feel like this band is almost back to their glory days. They just need to bring back the twin guitar harmonies. Why did they do away with those? A solid harmony like they had in wind of the night forest or furrow of gods was a lot of what made their older songs really pop for me

Well, they definately found their way up again, that's for sure.

Actually, this album is really starting to grow on me. I'll give it a few more spins, but I just may reconsider my rating.

Give it time Azog. I had my initial rating around the 3-3.5 mark. It takes a little time but the grow is strong

I'm not a big fan, but also could give a fuck less about the artwork on any album. If it is awesome, that's just a bonus.

If this is the comeback Ive been waiting for then colour me hyped. Also, that album art looks really familiar.... Where from? Idk.
