Yeah that one sounds the most like Conception - Flow and a bit like Queensryche.

This is abysmal, not a single standout track and that abhorrent grating electronic drum sound. Even Poetry for the Poisoned was better.

Never understood the hate for Poetry FTP. Listening to it back when it came out and today it still sounds pretty distinct in their catalog and the elements that make Kamelot unique and interesting are on display. There hasn't been an album from them as dark, and while it may not be a concept album in the usual sense, there's still more of a connecting theme than something like Karma or Ghost Opera throughout the songs. Also if I need an album to listen to while dealing with greif id pick PTFP over Silverthorn easy.

Poetry FTP had a few really weak spots on it. there were sections where you can tell they just weren't trying. still a fan of it overall.
