Whelp, I finally got around to my review of Thirteen. Their instrumentals are abnormally strong for a pop-punk album anyways. I don't think a band has even come close to the riff of 'Lights and Sounds' yet.

how has no one mentioned You & Me & One Spotlight yet? Easily one of their best.
I'd actually rank this as the second-best Yellowcard behind Southern Air. Disagree with the complaints about the back half...okay I'm just gonna rank this.

12. Light Up the Sky (2.5/5)
11. Afraid (3/5)
10. Shadows and Regrets (3/5)
9. Date Line (3.5/5)
8. Keeper (4/5)

6. Fighting (4/5)
5. Shrink the World (4/5)
4. Five Becomes Four (4.5/5)
3. You & Me & One Spotlight (5/5)

where does Ten fall in your ranking, Atari?
|
| |
Album Rating: 5.0
Ten is basically a 5 but I'll admit that's for more personal reasons
also, to be clear Shadows and Regrets is top 3-ish for this album, not their discog ;0)

nah just this album haha. I'm terrible at ranking things.. I just know "Shadows and Regrets" is one of my favorites here. I'd have to revisit all their slow songs to know where it would stack up in comparison

I apparently never realized how spectacular The Takedown was before. Pretty much the perfect opening track

Why is everyone hating on dear Bobbie wtf
|
| |
I need to relisten to this.
|
| |
Album Rating: 4.0
because Dear Bobbie is cringey. I sort of can't believe the same band wrote Ten a few albums later, because that's gut-wrenching where Dear Bobbie is just schmaltzy and awful
|
| |
It's still better than anything Fall Out Boy put out.

Idk... I never got a cringey impression from dear Bobbie at all but to each their own. Yeah, Ten is a much better song though.
