I think we're gonna start entering a phase of hip hop where a lot of albums are essentially taking the rock n roll ethos of favoring delivery over lyrical substance, and I have zero problems with this. No one gives a shit that rock bands are just babbling nonsense most of the time, we're there to chant along and have a great time, and that's what albums like this do. There's plenty of room in this world for conscious rap as well.

Agree with the rock n roll ethos. Just like when people cant understand half the metal screams, there is nothing wrong with hip hop doing this.

new step in the la flame canon for sure. kinda inconsistent second half, but hey at least it ain't microwaved rodeo leftovers. plus im a sucker for trippy instrumentals.
