y'all still pretending Ameer wasn't the mvp of the first two albums and kind of the main draw of the group to most hip hop heads I see.

premise might be true but people would have said the same about tyler and odd future in 2010

yes
earl has gone on to make self-produced highly acclaimed albums in the hh community, frank has gone on to win a grammy

His point is people said the same thing about OF in 2010 and in hindsight they were very wrong (or NOT right) as Earl and especially Frank have made out quite nicely as solo artists. You can even make an argument that Frank has been more successful than Tyler (disregarding all his other endeavours and just talking music that is).

my point is that your point of was all trash is obviously false and though yes kevin is the creative lead its too soon to say if the other will or will not succeed outside his wing
i tend to think not too but yeah

"Without Kevin Abstract this group wouldn't be shit"
Get off Kevin's dick already. Dude gets washed 9 times outta 10 on tracks unless he's doing hooks and his solo work is mids.

Thought Joba and Bearface and Matt all shined on here. The more you listen to this the more you realize Bearface was putting in work.

The Jouvert beat sounds like something from Hell Hath No Fury

Ameer was obviously one of the main draws of the band before no question.
I like the direction they go in his absense tho, it’s more flamboyant

Tom Nook! Dom is my personal favorite. I also really dig Kevin and Joba

ameer was rly good on Sat 1 and p dec on sat 2 but I agree he really was annoying lyrically by the time sat 3 came around and the group has kinda lyrically developed way more on this album so his presence isn't rly missed imo

That's fair, though I think they miss the tambre of his voice and just his overall directness on an album that like I said earlier is pretty sappy and melancholic for the most part, especially when you consider how dominant bearface and Joba are on here.

this album doesn't need a bleak, direct outlook. worked better with the "washed out" vibe of the saturation series

New Orleans, Weight, Vivid, District, Tonya and obv JOUVERT are my favs for sure.

I don't know if I'm more atune to it, but the vocals seem intentionally obnoxious on this thing. Like, over produced or just tastelessly done in some parts.
