This is a lot better cut down and resequenced to:

1. Harmony Hall

2. This Life

3. Bambina

4. How Long

5. Unbearably White

6. Sympathy

7. Flower Moon

8. Spring Snow

9. Stranger

10. Rich Man

Cut it down to like 5 songs and you'd have a superb ep

I can see if you're a big Vampire Weekend fan (is there such a thing?) that maybe there's enough here to make a superb EP.

For someone who has quite liked the occasional song by them there's only enough here for an average EP.

I disagree, I think that cut down to 10 or so songs this thing is a pleasant and breezy summer album.

The barbershop style vocals singing the riff to Iron Man offended me - think on Sunflower

The dance pop Flameco'y song was awful too - Sympathy?

I 4.5d their last album but I have zero desire to hear this. The band completely ruined their momentum, sad!

@BoneyKing if you haven't heard it yet listen to my resequence of it which chops off all the awful Haim features + the most boring/annoying tracks.

"Jerusalem, New York, Berlin" is a nice tune. I like this album, but I feel like it's already growing off of me. Maybe.

Yeah the collab tracks do nothing for me - except for the opener. Hold You Know is a great opener. Agreed on this needing to be cut in half

“Hold You Now is a great opener.”

When I first heard this, I was actually quite impressed... then the country part came in and ruined the whole thing. Even though it’s not a good song, it’s one of the only listenable tracks here.

I adore Hold You Now. I am actually really surprised by the sites lukewarm reception to this. I would have thought this would have been right up your alley Sowing!
