@cosmic I have MDD and GAD... although that idea may be a sound generalization for some people during specific stages of the various depression and anxiety disorders it's hardly universal or obligatory imo.

In other words, I empathize with the sentiment but I still don't particularly enjoy the resulting aesthetic in this instance lol

For me it's like a cross between some of his better experimental ideas with his worst folk ideas, unfortunately

I got ya. I don't know what those letters mean, and I'm not trying to sweep other's experience under the rug. I was generalizing to make a point, but that doesn't always work out.

This is the level of discourse I would expect this album to generate.

I'm still not entirely sure where I sit with this album. At first, I thought it could be his best but multiple listens hasn't confirmed it. I love moments, but as an album, I don't know.

never has an album cleaved so neatly: while i understand the first half of the album is a bit pedestrian and features some pretty wince-inducing lyric excesses, the second half is so good! took him a while to find his footing tho

also i love Yi so much Bon Iver Tape Music album when

I wish this bloke would fuck off back to that log cabin where he made For Emma and just hang himself to redeem a bit of cred.

yeah this is fucking disgusting and I'm a bit in awe someone who's been in the world as long as you have hasn't learned better yet. basically I'm saying grow the fuck up you fucking manchild

Anyways: this is a touch ahead of 22, a Million for me atm, though I could see it growing on or off me. It's fuckin' lovely either way

shit would be unbelievable at any time but posting it two days after the Berman news broke is like. I know zak is a miserable cunt but that's a new level of despicable bullshit. goddamn
