He has enough ratings on 4 albums to be of some statistical significance so unless he changed his sound, which I doubt he did, the decline in the number of ratings can be explained by people realising that they shouldn't be wasting time on this kind of music.
If that is not sufficient argumentation for you, please direct your attention to rateyourmusic.com, whose userbase exceeds half a million people and is not metalhead-skewed - yet the man in question still has practically no ratings on his latest outings. Why? Because people don't give a fuck. And rightfully so.
