Also lol album is good but "Cry Cry Cry" is garbage and "Trouble in Town" along with "Guns" are the cringiest fucking tracks ever.

Yeah I definitely want to hear from a brit about fucking gun control, just like I want to hear from a pasty white guy about police brutality.

“Trouble In Town” might be their best song this decade if not for that sample in the middle which kinda ruins it for me.

With the public spotlight comes protesters and naysayers. I'm used to it. :-]

It’s a great review man, even if I disagree. You explain clearly and succinctly why the album speaks to you. The success or failure of a review really hinges almost entirely on that.

Tbf it's not like Trouble in Town is trying to sing from the point of view of a black person being racially profiled, it's more in solidarity like... This is so fucked up guys we should really be paying attention???

Which is kinda obvious but I know a lot of people who don't have their ear to the ground about it that we're kinda turned onto it more about the song from that perspective

the sample is perfectly fine but Coldplay...cringy?

where have you been this entire decade when they not only put out a goddamn video where they're cgi monkeys but also did perhaps one of the worst songs this decade in a chainsmokers collaboration? these guys transcend cringe

Hey that monkey video is a masterpiece and gave us the same video of chimps dancing to different songs Facebook page.

Not a Coldplay hater at all, but this sucks so much I couldn't even get through the whole thing in one listen. What am I missing? I don't think i've heard a more boring collection of songs.

I think it's an underrated fact that the last song on the EP they released before this ends with the line "It was dark/Now the sunrise..." and then this album starts with literal "Sunrise"

This was fine? I think the concept album idea absolutely killed it. Someone else mentioned it, this would have been a great EP. It sounds like some really solid Viva La Vida b-sides that they put some other stuff around to make an album

Nice one, hadn't thought about that!

I might bump this to a 3.5, Daddy and Arabesque are amazing.
