To be fair, California is probably the worst song on Angels besides maybe Scream. So yes, I get not liking it. But after Scream, Angels is just non stop great for the rest of it imo. I’d still say California is better than a few of the tracks on this, just because a couple of the tracks here are just kinda.... eh. Just forgettable.

At the same time, I will say I do appreciate that this album is kinda like the dark album if Art Angels is the light album. Angels just super poppy and sugary etc with this being much darker and different, and it clearly not trying to be another Art Angels. It doesn’t have to be. I like that they are different. I just wish this one was better than it is.
