It's really only the midsection of Dedicated that feels a bit 'safe'. The stretch from I'll Be Your Girl to Right Words Wrong Time with the exception of Automatically In Love (I really like The Sound too but feel it's a little lacking) are relatively timid and one-dimensional compared to the rest of her work. Not to say that I dislike any of those songs.



Everything else absolutely bangs. As to what's better between this / Dedicated / Emotion / Emotion Side B ... they're all great. Just enjoy them
