This is a pretty good record, I guess, but it's so... stressful.

This might be my favourite by these guys.

Not really familiar with the whole post-punk universe, but Michigan Hammers bangs.

Easily the best album I've ever heard from whatever their name is.

Album rules, even though I don't tend to be interested in this style of music. I did check the band's previous two albums, and this is definitely my favorite

To me Relatives in Descent was somewhat disappointing after the excellent The Agent Intellect. This new one is a clear step forward, both musically and lyrically, I’m so happy to hear the band again back on the tracks, further polishing their signature sound.

I am calming down now. This band's works stayed with me through the whole weekend. I didn't know them before. all the albums are sweet, very sweet. I find that the emotional buildup in this record is not as careful as that in their past records. Modern Business Hymns will be one of my top tracks of the year for sure. I like the final 3 tracks very much.

This is really great. I dig Relatives slightly more but they really strike a less bombastic and but more measured approach here. Which they've always written patient songs but they really just vibe on most of these and it works exceedingly well. They have some beautiful melodic passages as always.
