It's a glorious piece of work. I'd imagine, if you don't vibe off their previous two this won't do much for you either. For me, I can't get enough of this sound they do; it's incredibly vivid stuff.

It's unpredictable, rich, dynamic... Love the production, specially on drums, the Icelandic language adds to it, plus the singing, far from being technically perfect and even jarring at times, it fits the music somehow, the man sounds like he is ripping his throat apart.

Maaan, the first listen did not go well. Could be a grower though, we shall see. Hard to believe this is the same band that did Kold.

The first listen did absolutely nothing for me; this is a grower for sure.

Subsequent listens have so far turned me off this rather than warmed me to it.

I've had a bit of a bad run lol. That said, I *do* want to give this another shot under better listening conditions. Hard to find time for focused listens atm. Or maybe I'm just using that time to play Knights of the Old Republic. Hard to say...

I never actually played it back in the day. Didn't have an xbox or good enough PC. But I do all my gaming 10-15 years after the fact. Aside from rarer titles you get all the games at a fraction of the price and since you're not used to newer graphics, the visuals of the games don't disappoint!
