it flows really well. I was listening to it in the morning when I took the dog out, and half hour just passed by.

Definitely up there with my least favourite bands that ever existed

still here, insisting on finding something to like.
That's a commitment I'm looking up to.

Not really mate....Their last track just randomly played on youtube and I was doing something else before being massively offended how Youtube had just RUINED my lovely little headspace I was in by injecting this turd into my ears and reminding me they even existed. Saw they had a new record out and came here to see what Sput virgins where digging it. So 'Still here' is a bit of a reach. Soz.
But I wont hog the chat. You enjoy yaselves.

this is ok but every song sounds the same

You really think that? I think that ''Holographic Principle'' suffered from that, but ''Omega'' has more distinction. Up to ''Rivers'', at least, I think the songs are pretty identifiable.

^^^Agreed.
This reminds me more of Quantum overall, but not as good.

@PortalofPerfection True
@CaliggyJack That children's choir has won your heart, probably. Still, not my favourite.

It was a wild guess... It's quite theatrical, indeed. I feel like this album has some ''Imaginaerum'' vibes at times, such as Skeleton Key, and the latter part of Kingdom of Heaven Pt.III where Simone sounds like a Disney movie witch

Half of me thinks this is really cheesy & Simone's voice just doesn't quite sit right with me a lot of the time.
The other half thinks it's quite good & might grow on me a bit over time. Rivers was gorgeous.

I find Rivers a lackluster ballad from them, doesn't compare to previous slower songs from them (like Feint, Trois Vierges, Safeguard to Paradise who are my top 3 f.e.), but the rest of your description is spot on: half cheese, half potential
The bojack avatar looks cool.

Epica is not a band I listen to and symphonic metal in general is something I probably haven't dipped a toe in for nearly 15 years or so. I'm intrigued to hear that they do a lot better than Rivers though.
"The bojack avatar looks cool."
BoJack is my spirit animal.

yes, they have an amazingly consistent and evolving career, but Omega is definitely not their highlight.
The more I think of the series, the more I feel like I find parts of myself in all the characters, side or main

Grower.
Freedom is so good.
Or maybe it's part of my vertiginous descent into the symphonic metal rabbit hole this year.

Vertiginous Descent sounds like something out of an Epica album
