So you haven't listened to Siren Song or RPM at all. Interesting.

this band is really really bad at doing ballads. like it's honestly baffling how hard they whiff it basically every time. that said-

AM I LOUD AND CLEAR OR AM I BREAKIN UP

Idk man, People Live Here is awesome. Roadside too. Everchanging rules in both versions.

I forgot about the acoustic Everchanging, that's a good call. never cared much for the electric one

Roadside is uhhhhhhhh not good but marginally better than Hero of War

i loooooove Roadside, super simple, but just incredibly well executed in terms of tone.

I think atm my fave softie is probably Everchanging acoustic.

Will listen to the whole thing later. Though, i can already tell i don't like the drum mixing and how powerless and devoid of any defined articulation all the instruments sound in 'Sudden Urge'.

Everchanging is probably the best Rise Against song, tbh

Solid attempt. I haven't had a lot of time to really digest this... going to give it a chance though.

i've been jamming these guys quite a lot so seeing their name always provokes a spark of interest in me but what i've read about this and considering how i've felt about their last few albums i don't have much interest in listening to this particular album

After several listens, I have to admit it is definitely better than Wolves at least. Probably on the same level as Endgame, if not better.
So I guess: Siren Song > Sufferer > Unravelling > RPM > Appeal >>> TBM > Endgame = This > Wolves
