Not my favourite Opeth album as that honour goes to either Blackwater Park or Ghost Reveries. However, this album shows the world what Opeth does best by combining bone crunching heavy with colour and texture and light. If Pat Metheny were to be in a death metal band, it would be Opeth and his signature solo would be the one on White Cluster. I can't wait to hear the recordings which Mikael Akerfeldt is doing together with fellow prog-head Steven "Porcupine Tree" Wilson.

This is my first 5 rating...even though I'm relatively new to this I don't think this will happen again very soon. One of the best albums from opeth-equals-one of the best albums of all time. There's no filler, not one minute I regret. Achingly beautiful.

This one grew on me a lot. It went from being one of my least favorite to being top 3.

That's kind of what happened last night, now it's this, GR, and Morningrise making up the top 3.
