they aren't even entirely "Part 2" songs. They are just extended versions of the OG songs on the album with extra shit added. And the extra shit just sorta conflicts with the original songs anyways. They all drag the album down.

Yeah three of them are towards the end, whereas Keep My Spirit and Jesus Lord are somewhere in the middle. I love most of the tracks, but the second half of the album is absolutely phenomenal. I think Ye tried to create a 50/50 album, with the first half being more general Hip-Hop and the second half being Gospel Rap. I definitely prefer his Gospel stuff more, but they are all really great stuff.

Honestly, I think if Kanye had just called them bonus tracks instead of Part 2, just to better indicate that the tracks are separate from the record and that the album ends at No Child Left Behind, this record would score higher with many.

If he had released a deluxe edition with those tracks added, that way people could listen to those extras and the main album itself wouldn't be tainted.

Come to think of it, if you listen to the three album release streams there are several alternate versions of songs, and one entirely new song, that he has remaining after the four part two tracks on the record. Hell, you could probably recreate the whole of Donda with alternative takes. A deluxe edition would have made a lot of sense.
