Been furiously enjoying this album a lot this past week. I'm not even big on the dissonant stuff, but this one sits right at the edge of the "it's all pots and pans to me" cliff without falling down.

this is pretty cool. bit like ulcerate with cleaner production but still manage to kinda have their own sound. sounds like the album art, something deep underground with streams of light flickering through

Yeah the only con this band has is their overall homogeneity. It doesn't help their music in the long run. It reminds me why I can't give Gorguts's Obscura more than a 4. Every time this band ventures out of their thing they sound phenomenal and they show hints of brilliance. I hope someday they take the leap of faith and make a full album with that approach. At the same time this is so good I could even 4'5 it someday. Production is neat too.
