This is one of my favorite bands/albums. Is the remix/remaster definitely worthy of purchase? How much does it improve on the original? Is it brickwalled? (I hope not)

No brick-walling; it ups the power without resorting to that. But the mix overall just lets the instruments flourish in a way that’s powerful and layered. It’s been said in the comments already, but you can really pick out the guitar parts etc, and the drums just sound like an absolute powerhouse

This is definitely so much nicer than the original mix, but I think I still love Supporting Caste a bit more. Album full of bangers.

Yeah this is truly a work of art in terms of remastering. One of the best I've ever heard.
I'm an audiophile and a huge fan of remasters so I follow them closely on certain bands. Propagandhi, just like with Isis and Metallica, have released already several "soft" remasters that went completely unnoticed.
While the How To Clean Everything, Failed States and Today's Empires... remasters were heavily advertised, a couple of their other albums have received a slight treatment as well. Less Talk More Rock had one of these "soft" remasters in the 2000 reissue (which was later released again in 2015). Potemkin City Limits was re-released in 2015 and 2016 with a "soft" remaster as well. Both versions of these two albums have more bass and less treble, but the change is so minimal the average joe could never notice. Supporting Caste was also reissued in 2015 but I don't hear any difference between that and the original (which is fine, since that album is perfectly produced).
All in all, I'm very satisfied with my fully remastered Propagandhi collection.

Potemkin needs a full remix just as bad as this one did tbh. I think Hannah said they mixed and mastered the entire thing in about 3 days by themselves, Blasting Room did what they could in short notice. The remix treatment they've done for this and Failed States has been phenomenal though

I never had issues with the original version of Potemkin tbh, so I am good with both "soft" remasters. I think I prefer the 2015 version tho.
I just realized both versions are available in the iTunes library btw

Finally listened to the remaster and the original in tandem and yeah it sounds more muscular and modern but the impact of the original is hardly dulled by its production.
