after looping tf out of their 4 (lmao) albums all week, i think this is my favorite. feels so complete and cohesive, where el cielo and pariah have a feeeew moments that briefly lose me

prob my lowlight here tbh lol but i still am a fan. almost sounds like a kurt travis song to me. it serves the sequencing really nicely imo

First four songs are such a great stretch. I feel Not That Simple may be very underrated? Anyway with these bumps I feel a dredg binge coming

@sab haha yw for all the dredg bumps. they clicked w me maybe like a week ago so im kinda only freshly puttin my hours in. and yea not that simple (outro aside but i edited that shit out lmao) is one of my tops here. this is absolutely the season for this album. immaculate spring vibes

I've already said it in this thread but if you like dredg and particulary this album, check out Paulson - All at Once, same catchy / summery vibes with a killer drummer. Window Frames is still one of my favourite songs of all time.

Relistened to this last night. What an incredible album start to finish.

And as much as I love it when these guys get artsy you can't deny the straightforward rockers like ode to the sun tanbark and hungover on a Tuesday

The beat in Sang Real sounds incredibly Conscious Hip Hop, especially in the verse

lol my dredg binge was countered by me falling ill because it kept raining hard and then having random hot days so I died for a while. But now I'm healed and spring is starting so I'll have to retry. o7

also the gazey bridge in Jamais Vu slaps cheeks

Someone in the RYM comment box wrote that dredg are a post hardcore band hiding in prog rock clothing and it's kinda true

it's just a 3 track EP they did before Leitmotif lol. it's pretty dumb but fun if you're curious about heavy dredg
