Debut kicks ass agreed

Yeah. It has such a strong feeling of fear and dread that drew me in in the first place. The biggest problem I have with this is that I feel none of that listening to it. The most common thing I felt was boredom.

"What's with the massive grudge against the debut?"
for me it's the jumbled & erratic songwriting, sterile production, exhausting runtime and overreliance on chugs
i dig the atmosphere, vox, some of the ideas and even entire tracks but the whole thing is kind of a mess

I have a feeling they were asking why tundra is on a warpath, as opposed to “why do people not like the debut”
Unless y’all hold massive grudges against albums because you don’t like them, Big Album gonna turn the frogs gay or something

There's some really good moments here but there's also quite a few sections that are head scratching-ly bad.
The first time I listened to this, there were a couple times I almost just turned it off because the songs just devolved into loud walls of prog metal wankery.

Maybe the debut is for you. Special stuff, despite the reception, imo.
