It's definitely missing those "big" tunes, but there's still a lot to like in my opinion. Opener surprised me with its industrial edge, Kamikaze is a CRJ pop banger, After Last Night is also something pleasantly refreshing for Carly... Kollage echoes the slower songs from The Loneliest Time, Shadow is another to add to the CRJ banger playlist.
There's a few duds though with Aeroplanes, Psychedelic Switch, So Right and Stadium Love. I'd have canned all of these to keep a tighter package overall. Carly's iconic charisma seems to be amiss throughout most of this too, feels a little off.

---The fact that she will ultimately only have ever made one great album is very sad---
We're talking about Dedicated Side B, right? ;-)

How did I have no idea about this until now.
Also how am I supposed to believe this really isn't a collection of B sides with a non-descript title? It is the AMNESIAC effect all over again.

I thought I read somewhere that these were The Loneliest Time b-sides, or recorded at the same time.

This album is the epitome of lustrous sounds with too many lackluster songs. There are a few bangers here, but most of what keeps my attention is the production that makes for some pleasing sonic distraction from the fact that the album is often lacking vocal or musical hooks, so at least the album never sounds bad even when it isn't particularly ear-catching. Right now I am digging Kollage, Shy Boy, So Right, and Come Over; but most of the rest are forgettable, with Psychedelic Switch being memorable for the wrong reasons in how annoyingly monotonous it is (worst song she's made?).

Shadow is my favorite here. The ending really goes.
Psychedelic Switch is also pretty nice.
Overall I agree that this lacks hooks.

Stadium Love is like top 3 at lowest wtf

Sounds like every other CRJ companion album: some interesting ideas, some bad ideas, inconsistent, and one track that immediately rockets to one of the top tracks she's ever done.

I think Dedicated and Dedicated Side-B are both superior to this. I probably need to give a relisten to Loneliest as it's been a while since I heard it, but right now I'd probably rank this a notch below it. I don't think anything here comes close to bopping as hard as Talking To Yourself, though I do generally prefer the production here.

Eh, I've given this a few more listens and I agree with the people here who think this is underwhelming. This really FEELS like a B-sides album, which makes it ironic that this supposedly ISN'T a B-sides album lol.
Can't fault her too hard tho, one semi-dud in the last like 6 things she's released is hardly a big deal.
