More diverse than war Moans??? Wild, I definitely am biased towards that one's focus on thrashy hardcore stuff but imo it's head and shoulders in terms of song-to-song variations in flavor

Great review Komp. My first run through this one was pretty underwhelming. Agree with Xing on the copy/paste comment. It was good but I don't think I'll revisit it anytime soon.

Cheers dewi, you into their others at all? Lotta gems in that back catalog

Really like War Moans, but I don't think I ever heard anything before that, all in due time!
Brodsky is the man though, gotta love the guy.

“Date With the Devil is hilarious and I will not hear a word against it”
It’s still one of my favorites from WM. I like how sleazy it sounds, but Graveyard Love sounds like the spiritual brother to that song. I like thinkin of my wife as if she’s my downfall but two records in a row is lol

Mmm fair, personally think graveyard is maybe not even that deep but agreed it's a very clear kinda sequel-song (they're even both track 5) and def not the most original thing out there

The most 3 band ever

With album covers that are a solid 2

this band is a load of bollocks mate

I don't need them to reinvent the wheel, glad they didn't truth be told.

I remember adoring Bleeder and gave it a 5. War Moans was a big s tep down in quality but still good. I'm giving this a go now but already not digging that first track at all. What a lazy ass chorus

this band annoyed the shit out of me and my friend when they opened for Boris

These album covers go hard as shit.

These guys are incredibly fun live but opening for Boris is a weird pairing

Agree with most sentiments here, Bleeder and War Moans were def better but this is still delivering on what I expect from/get out of these guys and I'm enjoying it.
Def just a fan of Ben Koller drumming/Brodsky riffing and also just always been a fan of Brodsky's voice and his choice of melody.
Also definitely a better live band than on recording.

This album grew on me a TON. Might be in the minority but I definitely like this more than War Moans, which has a few awesome tunes but the individual songs aren't as memorable as these IMO. Bleeder still reigns supreme though

It’s growing on me a lot tbh. The vocal melodies are uber catchy and screm-able, particularly on the closer.
