Felt that these guys sounded amateur from the singles. The songs sounded like a bunch of jarringly contrasted sections poorly stitched together. The high rating will have me check this out in earnest though. Hope to be wrong.

Love this band but they remind me of a slightly lesser Light This City with great cleans and catchier choruses. That said they need to solo more. They have all those Killswitch riffs, so why not? It’s interesting though, their fan base last night was hardcore not metal so that was funny. No push pit, no wall of death but plenty of two step, windmilling and circle pitting to melodic death riffs.

Every time I see this band live I'm like "Damn, they rip. I should really listen to more Dying Wish", and then I go home and bounce off everything they've ever made. Band crushes live though.

Lost in the Fall is great though but that's the main song I like the cleans in. Also the opener sounds more like a closer imo

Thought I wasn't gonna like this since stuff like Pridelands, Northlane and Invent Animate seem to be my metalcore go tos, but the melodeath riffs on this are really good and the breakdowns are interesting, as has been noted.
