title track is potentially the worst song here which is wild cos it's still like an 8/10. it's either that or Meet Me, both still heaters

second half of meet mes verse is the biggest thing threatening the 5 but its reasonably balanced out by how good the rest of the song (hell even the rest of the verse itself) is and how goofy the "i-yay-yaye"'s are being used as a device for tension release lmao

I actually love the meet me, kiss me, kill me bit lol but the iyeyeyes bit is truly awful. only moment on this that reminds me how bad Skiba was for a while there

and welcome dewi! glad you enjoy, maybe give Crimson or Good Mourning a spin next

i def get it and think id probably despise it if he didnt drop it in the last chorus. needed that moment to justify such a ridiculous and stupid choice but somethin about it makes that final hook feel so satisfying lmao

T/t has the best chorus here besides maybe Break Me, Hot For Preacher and Meet Me are definitely the weakest here which is probably why I didn't like this at first, does not put its best foot forward for me

my favorite chorus here is scars i think. the dual vocals going on there are so cool

i guess its like a post chorus or something lol idk what to call it but the whole "PLEASE I DONT NEED NO REASONS WHYYYYY" section of break is one of my top moments on the whole record too

Break & Shake With Me are the early standouts for me.

Kinda hoping Hinterlude is a cheeky nod towards the next Trio record being a shoegazey post rock affair. That would be hilarious.

Solid review, but you really thought My Shame is True was worse than This Addiction?
