while I like this album a lot, I do feel myself missing the sound from their previous albums; some songs just feel a bit empty.

"...the highs that he was hitting on tracks like Divisionary are sorely missed here." Definitely agree with this. I don't think Jesse sounds like he's given up (I really dig him using his lower register), but I would've liked to see more highs.

Favourites are probably Blue Reverie, End to Excess, and Slow Sour Bleed.

Jesse definitely sounds uninspired all fronts, from riff writing to his vocals

jesse's lower patterns are more physically difficult apparently so he's actually trying harder to sing those parts than the higher ones which come a lot easier to him. when i first saw him mention that it was a very interesting and eye opening moment in realizing how fuckin crazy the man's natural register happens to be

This album isn't bad, but man it's not nearly on the level of their self titled. It's catchy enough but everyone sounds bored to me, especially Jesse, and JT does the same monotone scream with no real variety. Pretty disappointed overall.

Hard disagree with JT putting in the most enthusiasm. His Deathcore-flavored vocals are completely out of place for most part of an album this mellow.

JT might be out of the job when the next album roles around LOL, seriously, the guy feels like such an afterthought on here it's not even funny

Settling into a light 4 on this for now. Hoping it grows, but idk. It's weird. I really like it when it's on, but after it's over I don't find myself humming any of the songs or even really remembering much of it.

It's a grower not a shower

Album peaks with Wish/Glimpse but Wave is slowly creeping its way up to my fav. Definitely Jesse's best chorus on here imo

Its just one of the most generic snoozefests with awful vox and lifeless riffs that I've ever heard. Zero redeeming qualities for me.
