This review is very very cynical but is great at the same time.

I think you are a little off on what you are saying. I can totally see how you believe what you do. But I think this album is less of a piece tying to get people to rebel, and more of a work intended to educated its listeners about some important issues.

Strike Anywhere takes things to the extremes but I think they wanted their music to be more open ended and wanted the listener to interperet the songs for themselves. They give information, how it is used is up to whoever recieves it. If you know what I mean.

Great review mate, you hit the nail right on the head. I enjoyed the previous 2 offerings from SA but this one.... Not so much.

I listened to an interview the vocalist did on Lead Singer Syndrome not too long ago, and he basically said that there's no plans for new Strike Anywhere music at the moment, but it's not completely out of the cards for the future. He's also currently working as the produce manager at a grocery store.

Can't go wrong with Silverstein, and Shane is indeed a class dude. Idk if you listen to Tonight Alive, but regardless if you don't, I highly recommend the episode where he interviews that girl. It's a really fun episode.
