Most of these are even better live

that ambient light, while you see MJK's silhouette masturbating in the corner def make the live show better i'd say

Calm these hands before they
Snare another pill and
Drive another nail down
Another needy hole
Pleeeease release me
Jeez. The broken way Maynard delivers that one is beautiful.

I feel like the reviewer listened to this album more as a collection of songs rather than trying to experience it as an album. It was well-written for what it is, but reads like a track-by-track honestly.

Ah, that puts it more into perspective. I'm more of a recent user (been lurking for about a year) so I guess I'm more used to the current style of most reviews here.

"dig in search of china, white as dracula"
always loved this line. whether or not it was intentional, the reference to china white (east coast heroin) is brilliant for the concept of the album

Gravity is one of the most calmly powerful and cathartic songs Maynard's ever sang on, due in no small part to his voice.
|

Yeah Gravity's one of my favs on here, and damn SpaceMan never caught that before

Outsider and Pet have this nice little groove to both of them in certain spots and I love it.
