The Bayside comparisons are definitely warrented here. The band creates guitar riffs that would not seem so out of place in a Bayside album. However, as a newly emerging band, Riverside lacks a solid identity. The vocalist is so far what really holds the band back, his vocals does sound like Anthony at times, but he is far weaker. However, this can be understandable considering how they are a new band and singers are rarely decided from the offset, this guy is probably just the person who turned out to sing the best. There is a lot of room for improvement and I mean that in the best of ways as there is a lot they can really improve upon when they reach their next outing. Hopefully then, they'll deliver.
