Review Summary: Sorry, Buckethead, but I need to write this.
I can safely say that 2013 is one of the saddest years for Buckethead. I feel sorry for the guy who was once a guitarist who was stupendous, phenomenal and exciting riffs . And for that reason, I decided to stop talking to myself, rise my butt off the couch and write this.
I know many fans will attack me, saying "but Buckethead made several albums this year." Yes, but are albums that do not have the quality of an old album. This collection of riffs that have been submitted each album, always with the same sound, without any emotion (except Telescape , which can be considered a gem in the midst of so much garbage). It Smells Like Frog shows everything bad that is in their albums this year. Everything that happens here are riffs without much creativity and excitement.
Before, when Buckethead released an album, was a boundless excitement because we knew it would be a good album. Now, in 2013, every week there's a new album to be sold. It is no longer a surprise, it's just another album that will show us the same things that we are used from the beginning of the year.
I think if you 're not doing it just to make money by launching a limited edition of all albums for $ 25. Please Buckethad, wait a minute .To be honest, I wish you did not throw anything for about 6 months. I'm sure your creativity would be renewed, and the fans would be surprised by an album that could say a lot about musicality and creativity. Now, with the sound that your albums are showing, I would not pay even $ 1 for download. I know there are fans who will lick your balls even if you throw anything, but I'm not, and I'm sure there are many fans who also want to back that creativity. Fu*k the year 2013. Fu*k Buckethead 2013.
