2.0 poor | Pon EMERITUS | June 3rd 16 | Katalepsy completely erase what little slam was left on Autopsychosis and opt for a half-brutal/half-tech death approach typical of Unique Leader records. They haven't forgotten their way around a riff, but I get the impression they're overextending their song-writing capabilities in an attempt to be unpredictable. Some of the songs ("After Omega" in particular) are borderline nonsensical in terms of structure, and to cap it off the loud-as-fuck typewriter drums become very fatiguing around the halfway mark. Whether this is just a blip or a sign of things to come, consider me disappointed.

2.5 average | Cuinhell | August 25th 21 | an exercise in self indulgence and intentionally complex songwriting. Though their skills are excellent the songs quickly end up driving away the attention of the listener due to the riffs sounding too artificially put together rather than flowing.

4.0 excellent | Dizchu | June 17th 16 | They've gone full tech-death here. I kinda miss the slam sound from Autopsychosis but wow, the band's really come a long way.
