Something of a guilty pleasure, I enjoy this one much more than my rating would suggest, but in an attempt to appear unbiased I've decided a 3 would be appropriate.rMost certainly an aqcuired taste, the most immediately offputting aspect of the record would have to be the offensively blunt lyricism, song titles oft offering as much insight and maturity as the lyrics themselves. A few examples would be; "14 year olds have more sex than me", "#TBT that time I made out with your sister", and "Raise the roofie". Not the most thoughtful or philosophical of meanings to be found here.rI enjoy the low and clean vocals, but the high screams can be a trifle screeching, à la Chelsea Grin, take that as you will, a definite crowd splitter I think.rInstrumentally, fairly interesting at times, with a few little electronic quirks and effects laden breakdowns, but guitars follow a repetitive chugging pattern throughout most of the album, as the name would suggest, drowning out other instrumental input at times. rI feel for most, this self-declared "Greatest Metalcore Band on Earth" are a love or hate act, I myself have have a fondness for them, but I'm unsure how to take them at times, unsure of how self-aware they are, if it's ironic, or meant to be taken at face value. At times I fear it to be the latter.
