Slick post punk/gothic/darkwave that does little to reinvent the wheel, yet its merit remains unspoiled from listen to listen. The excellently minimal arrangements that blend nicely, the brooding vocals and the drone-y texture overall, are enough feats to frequent Better Than Death, as much as follow New Today in future and past tense.
