3.6 great | Voivod STAFF | October 4th 18 | More often than not, one-man metal bands are a miss rather than a hit, but the man behind Buried in a Womb is definitely an exception. His proficiency in rhythm section, guitars (quite oddly, his rhythms are way better than the rather passable leads) and keys, are the pillars that hold the blackened punk/metal/grindcore crossover in check. What's more, the guy's day job (psychotherapist) gives leeway for some interesting songs titles and potentially, lyrics, although the former are (unfortunately) not available. On another note, Epigenetic Vulnerabilities... is a handful of steps up in terms of sound production with respect to the previous album. Favorite track: The Rush of Childlike Independence and Fateful Lies. Stream/"name your price" download: http://buriedinawomb.bandcamp.com/album/epigenetic-vulnerabilities-in-intrapersonal-failure

3.5 great | Chino smoking it up! | October 3rd 18 | Buried in a womb - Members - Glasersfeld - Everything. Really fast and outrageous BM with a clear punk vibe to it. Production is a bit too lowfi for me(thought every instruments are completely audible), but as a one man band and independent is pretty impressive stuff and full of cool modern ideas between all the classic BM features. Fave track: The Rush of Childlike Independence and Fateful Lies; Love's Crippled Decay (on both love those lead guitars "bridges"and solos in the middle and end of the tracks)
