A spiraling journey through the realms of brutality! Some really cool riffage happening throughout this album. I'm kind of a sucker for brutal death metal as long as there's some variation involved. That said I do normally prefer the stuff from the more old school vein that still has some life left in the production buried beneath the filth. Here the band does take the more sterile, mechanical sounding approach, which is a bit of a turn off for my ears. Luckily it isn't a big enough setback to drain all of the enjoyment from it when listening. This is definitely satisfying enough that I will be diving into the rest of their discography
