Nils at his best, some very good honest rock music here, not quite up to the grade of The Boss or Neil Young's best but still very good. A Child Could Tell probably the standout. Lyrically diverse, one song dealing with the remorseful pleas of a drunk driver after causing a fatal car crash, while another deals with a child's ability to see the changing fortune of a neighborhood recluse.
