I'm a big fan of Mark Lanegan, grunge era has a great debt with Screamin' Trees, they never got the credit they deserved. I've always tried to follow his career, so when I knew he was singing wsoulsavers I thought it was just another project to shadow over other people using that amazing voice, first time I was listening 'broken' reminded me to Massive Attack or Tricky. That was a perfect balance between Trip-Hop and grunge. What else can I say? mid-tempo songs are not my favorite kind of music but I felt captivated by this amazing band. They don't even came to Houston but I went to Austin to see them. There was at most 20 people at the bar, but I can tell you these guys made that night memorable, it was a trip to my 20s...Thanks guys, sometimes beatiful music is not understood by masses..sorry.
