Oh man, this riffs so hard! It mostly sounds like a blackened heavy/thrash record, but it has some death and heavy metal in it as well. Definitely that agressive as the cover art would suggest, it's more of a super awesome jam with plenty of earworm riffs and elegantly executed solos. Absolutely a love at first sight record. The only problem is with this: the overall volume is unnecesarily low!!

I want to like this album more, as at its best it is a wonderful, idiosyncratic pastiche of classic metal. However, a lot of the songs are overlong and begin bleeding into each other as the album goes on.
