3.0 good | aaronrkc | December 5th 22 | "Three Against Me," "Don't Count On Me," and "My Favorite Enemy" are their best songs since the late aughts or early '10s. I think Mike really unlocked something in his songwriting around then that allowed him to write introspective lyrics on an impressive level -- "I Am An Alcoholic" on Coaster and "I've Got One Jealous Again, Again" on Self Entitled being examples of this. Perhaps the best example of that is "That Time I Killed My Mom" on the Cokie The Clown LP. Otherwise, the rest of this album, while at times clever and fun, is just too full of puns and cringe-worthy wordplay. But I hear we might get a couple more albums before the band's done, so maybe they've still got a classic in them.

3.5 great | Slothy Seconds | December 1st 22 | Great collection of songs on this, feels more like a compilation of B sides, not very cohesive.
