Adult Jazz make an album that oozed confidence in something it desperately lacks: creativity and cohesion. Across this hour-long quaint orchestral record, the band put the biggest effort into seeming profound and clever in all the trendiest, yet tonedeaf ways. The result is an ill-conceived mess of strings and nonexistent pacing, rife with musical ideas that range from baffling to boring. At the end of this intensely laborious listen the only thing you'll remember is that the band really thought they were on to something.
