4.5 superbHerbie Chrost | October 10th 20

An unholy onslaught of sound collage, noise, electronic beats, and Ogre's demented screaming. Skinny Puppy would later take this sound to its logical conclusion on Last Rights, but what the group achieves here is largely unmatched from the rest of their discog. The mixing and sound quality is very impressive too and makes the album. Give this a shot if you felt underwhelmed by their pre-Vivisect VI work, it's like listening to entirely new songs. An essential release for anyone interested in either Skinny Puppy or old school industrial.r
