3.0 good | North0House2 | December 15th 12 | I wish they went a little grittier still. I loved Wrecking Ball, oh it is a glorious album. This is still good, but not quite as emotionally stirring.

4.0 excellent | guttermoth | May 31st 11 | I think it's kinda sad when people will be displeased about an album just because the artists sound matures. That's exactly what happened here. Dead Confederate moved away from somber grungy pseudo-Kurt Cobain/Seattle music into a more aesthetically pleasing sound. I really like this album. It has a lot of strong songs. I'm glad I added it to my collection instead of being butt hurt because the singer doesn't use rasp in his voice any more.

2.0 poor | North0House | December 29th 10 | Yeah, I was bummed about this one. I loved their debut, the grunge like vocals and all. It was a fantastic album. However, they seem to have done away with that whole style in this album, which is a huge disappointment.
