3.0 good | Robbit | August 25th 16 | STAMPEDE was probably one of the better Krokus albums from this era. Although Krokus continued to pay to the copycat game to some extent (borrowing liberally from AC/DC, Judas Priest and Accept), new vocalist Peter Tanner actually sells it well. The double bass fueled title track echoes past glories like "Headhunter" and is definitely a highlight here. The first half of the album is very likable, but they seem to run out of good ideas towards the end. Still, this was an improvement upon their prior 2 albums.
