A cursory listen to Wiz reveals a little about what Candlemass wanted to do musically or at least wanted to experiment with. The title-track is one of the better on Dactylis Glometera, but only it and closer "Thirst" show the band in their traditional doom metal/Sabbath worship selves that they played in the late 90's. "Bug Queen" is a legitimately good noise rock track, complete with female vocals and a spirited drum performance, while "Container" is a strange ambient/noise track that isn't that great on its own, but with stuff like that added to their musical output during this time, it could've had a lot more personality than it did. It's an interesting listen at the very least, and any fan of Candlemass should definitely hear this one.
