Review Summary: The dawn of a punk rock hero, the Radinsky

This album is Ten Foot Pole's debut and also Scott Radinsky's debut as well. Swill is a great album but nowhere near as awesome as Rev. Swill starts off with a song called People Like You which is under 2 minutes but still good. It starts off with an interesting set of drums that hooks me in every time i listen. Then Scott's vocals come in with him singing about complainers and how he hates them. The next song is called Skywalker which starts off with an interesting guitar riff which continues, but the vocals on this song are quite intriguing. Pete's Shoes is a funky sounding song and definitely a highlight, as the guitars give it it's funky sound, but the song has nothing to do with Pete's shoes. The fourth song, Life comes in next sounding like a metal song, that talks about how unfair Jesus's deal was, but nonetheless, a good song it starts off slow and gets fast then slow then fast like a roller coaster. Home is the next song, sounding nothing like the last, it uses an acoustic guitar, unlike the rest of the songs, but it is only strummed, not very frequently played. Ultamitum is a longer song then most of them, if like long songs, then you'll love this one. It is not that special, it's just average. Forward is a fast song about how Scott wants to go forward, not straight. It is not a special song, but that doesn't mean it's bad, because it's not. Then another album highlight, Third World Girl, starts playing with an interesting guitar piece that hooks me every time i hear it. Then Scott expresses his love for a third world girl, so its a poppy song. Pete's Underwear, is the next musical piece for us to analyze. It has a repeat of the same funky guitar from Pete's Shoes, but it is an intermission nonetheless, featuring a turntable being scratched, and a repeat of the lyrics "listen carefully". Overall, the song will make you move even though it's only an Intermission. The next two songs are School and Man in a Corner, which are average songs but not bad, Man In A Corner has a interesting solo piece at the beginning which hooks me, but School lacks this, it's just a story about something Scott did at school once. Then the number 1 hit of all time on this album is next, Racer X. It fades in, then goes insane, then the fun starts when Scott starts singing. I don't think anybody could make this song sound more interesting than Scott. This is unarguably the best song to be found on Swill. Joy To The World is just like the old classic song, but in Radinsky style. You know, that old song you used to love, but only this time it's jam packed with guitars and fast drums. Radinsky's voice here is spectacular as well as funny and entertaining. When it's over, you will end up liking this album and probably replay it. I listened to it 3 times the first day I got it. It has been proven that if you listen to Swill, you will get smarter and you will also get laid. Don't believe me? Just try it.

"Racer X" is one of my absolute favorite punk rock songs, and the one that introduced me to the band.

This is your first review, but...ahh, it's not so good, man. Very short, not enough detail, run-on sentences and grammar mistakes out the wazoo. I have to ask: is English your first language?
